“Mengenal DAP” session in Kuching, Sarawak

ros_merah-650x400A “Mengenal DAP” workshop (“Getting to know DAP”)  will be held this Saturday, August 9 2014, at the Pusat Khidmat DAP Tupong, Sarawak. The activity intends to share the history of the party and its struggle with respect to its ideology.

The program, held in collaboration with DAP Sarawak and the DAP Youth of Kuching Sarawak titled “Ros Merah, Ideologi perjuangan DAP” features speaker Dr. Hew Kuan Yau better known as “Superman”.

” In recent times, the discussion and the search of the true meaning of democracy sees a resurgence. New challenges force the youth to be aware and contemplate what democracy really is all about.

“There are many issues we have to explore and implement in our daily lives,” said the event sponsors.

Amongst the activities in this workshop are exercises, lectures and computer simulations, said the sponsors of the event. Those who attend have the opportunity to discuss and question the ideology, organizational structures and the idea behind DAP’s Social Democracy during its 3 hour session.

The event will begin at 2 in the afternoon and each session will be conducted in Bahasa Malaysia, held at the Pusat Khidmat DAP Tupong, Tingkat 1, Lot 9663, Jalan Matang Taman Lee Ling Commercial Center, Fasa 23, 93050, Kuching Sarawak.
