On 11 March 2020, it has come to my attention that a fake quote poster using my photo with a fake quote has become viral. I immediately clarified on my Facebook page that I have never issued such statement and that the quote is completely false.

Yesterday, Bukit Aman released a media statement stating that I will be called in to assist in an investigation under the Sedition Act, Penal Code and the Communications and Multimedia Act.

I would like to reiterate again that the poster containing the fake quote are not from me and completely false.

I was also informed that the police is also investigating my tweet dated 9 March 2020 regarding the status of the roadmap to fight child marriage. I am ready to give my full cooperation to the police regarding this matter as well.

I will be in Bukit Aman on 23 June to assist the police in the investigation regarding the above matters.
