Anthony Loke urges govt to hear the cries of bus drivers and operators

Member of Parliament for Seremban, Anthony Loke urged the Transport Ministry to hear the cries of bus operators affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and find a solution to their woes.

Anthony iterated that the government must have a more targeted initiative to help these bus drivers and operators.

He added that even though the government has allocated hundreds of million of ringgits to the MY30 monthly pass, such initiatives only benefited Prasarana, which is a GLC and not private bus operators.

“Do school bus operators have to request aid from Ustaz Ebit Lew before the government make any moves?” he asked in reference to the amazing humanitarian efforts led by the Islamic preacher and entrepreneur.
