<\/strong>\"\"<\/a>I have instructed my lawyers to institute legal proceedings against Utusan Malaysia for recycling the defamatory lies of the booklet \u201cThe Equity Report (CEC Election Fraud)\u201d of fictitious \u201cFather Augustus Chen\u201d.<\/p>\n

In a statement on August 5, 2013, I said:<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u201cFather Augustus Chen\u201d who authored the booklet alleging irregularities in the DAP Central Executive Committee (CEC) elections last December was \u201ca total figment of imagination of the Umno\/BN \u2018war-room psy-war\u2019 campaign against the DAP before and after the 13th<\/sup>\u00a0General Elections\u201d;<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The allegations of DAP election irregularities by the fictitious \u201cFather Augustus Chan\u201d in his booklet is a regurgitation of the many lies and baseless allegations which had been published in some 400 anti-DAP reports and write-ups in UMNO\/BN controlled media since January, particularly in Utusan Malaysia and New Straits Times;<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The appearance of the booklet of lies by the fictitious \u201cFather Augustus Chen\u201d in July was to provide a semblance of justification for UMNO\/BN and the Registrar of Societies (RoS) to act against the DAP, enabling Umno\/BN leaders and Cabinet Ministers to quote the fictitious \u201cFather Augustus Chen\u201d as authority why action, such as invalidation of DAP CEC elections and even deregistration, should be taken against the DAP.<\/p>\n

In my media statements in the following two days, I described the fictitious \u201cFather Augustus Chen\u201d as an \u201cevil genius\u201d for cramming and packing some 100 lies and falsehoods into a 12-page booklet, and I gave him seven days\u00a0to surface and prove that he is not phantom.<\/p>\n

The seven-day period for \u201cFather Augustus Chan\u201d to surface have long come and gone, and no \u201cFather Augustus Chen\u201d has appeared.<\/p>\n

Nobody expected the fictitious \u201cFather Augustus Chen\u201d to surface as whoever steps forward to claim authorship of the scurrilous publication \u201cThe Equity Report\u201d must not only be prepared to face multiple mega-defamation suits but criminal proceedings as well for the mountain of malicious and defamatory lies in the booklet.<\/p>\n

Despite repeated DAP denials of the defamatory lies and falsehoods in the booklet by the fictitious \u201cFather Augustus Chen\u201d,\u00a0\u00a0Mingguan Malaysia yesterday carried a report by its reporter Kasthuri Jeevendran recycling the defamatory and malicious lies and falsehoods by the fictitious \u201cFather Augustus Chen\u201d.<\/p>\n

The fictitious \u201cFather Augustus Chen\u201d made among others, two false and baseless allegations to justify RoS and Umno\/BN government action against the DAP, firstly that \u201c753 delegates (mostly Indians)\u201d were not notified of the DAP Congress in Penang last December and secondly, that there were \u201c547 phantom delegates (mostly from Penang)\u201d who voted at the DAP Congress, as well as malicious and defamatory allegations against DAP leaders.<\/p>\n

There is not an iota of truth in these malicious and defamatory allegations against the DAP and DAP leaders.<\/p>\n

I have therefore asked my lawyers to institute legal proceedings against Utusan Malaysia for\u00a0\u00a0recycling\u00a0the defamatory lies of the booklet \u201cThe Equity Report (CEC Election Fraud)\u201d of the fictitious \u201cFather Augustus Chen\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
