\"\"<\/a>The blogger who administers the website pisau.net who previously defamed, Kelantan Menteri Besar (MB) Nik Aziz, former Perak MB Seri Mohd Nizar, Taiping MP Nga Kor Ming and myself through wild and baseless accusations, has partially heeded to the conditions outlined in\u00a0my letter of demand, through posting an article of \u2018factual correction\u2019 titled;<\/p>\n

Pembetulan Fakta Tanah Ngeh dan Nga Di Kelantan. – Pisau mendapati berlaku percanggahan fakta yang tidak tepat yang diperolehi\u00a0dari sumber sebelum ini dan berasa bertanggungjawab untuk memperbetulkan\u00a0demi kebenaran.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The admittance by the blogger that his previous article being factually\u00a0incorrect, is yet another piece of evidence that the allegations thrown at\u00a0myself and my Pakatan Rakyat (PR) colleagues are nothing but cheap, irresponsible\u00a0and repulsive political potshots. This also goes to show that my name is\u00a0cleared of the previous accusations peddled by Pisau.net.<\/p>\n

I hereby urge all others who have defamed me to step forward and\u00a0follow what has been done by Pisau.net, to clear my name and free PR from the various ridiculous, untrue and slanderous defamations.<\/p>\n

Despite the website of Pisau.net being currently inaccessible, rendering the\u00a0said article to be equally inaccessible, I appreciate the article as a\u00a0response to my letter of demand. I can only assume that an interested third\u00a0party whose interest is to continue hoodwinking the public is behind the\u00a0locking down of Pisau.net.<\/p>\n

The abovementioned article also further confirms our previous stand that BN, Perak MB Zambry and his excos are at such dire desperation, to the extent that\u00a0blatantly lying in the state assembly has become the only strategy they\u00a0could come up with, to divert the public\u2019s attention from the real scandals\u00a0perpetrated by themselves.<\/p>\n

I feel it important to reiterate some of the key reasons behind my sending\u00a0of a letter of demand, and consideration to file a defamation suit against\u00a0Pisau.net.<\/p>\n

As state Chairman of DAP Perak; one third of the three partied\u00a0coalition of Perak\u2019s government in waiting, any form of tarnishing of my\u00a0name will negatively impact the people\u2019s opinion of Perak PR as\u00a0a whole.<\/p>\n

My own personal integrity as a politician and individual, which\u00a0has been built over the years through my service to the Perakian people and\u00a0my contribution to our nation building agenda, is at stake if the likes of\u00a0Pisau.net is allowed to continue their dissemination of falsehoods and\u00a0blatant lies.<\/p>\n

To safeguard the prospect of a real change for Perakians; to\u00a0ensure the power of the Perakians is returned to the Perakians, and to\u00a0restore democracy to our beloved silver state after BN\u2019s unlawful power grab\u00a0in 2009, I feel it essential Pisau.net is called to task to face the\u00a0responsibility of it\u2019s actions.<\/p>\n

In my letter of demand to the administrator of Pisau.net, I stipulated that\u00a0within seven days upon receipt of the said letter he shall –<\/p>\n

(i) publish a full screen article in the Blog; and<\/strong><\/p>\n

(ii) make a public statement with prominence within the first 5 pages in\u00a0\u201dBerita Harian\u201d, \u201cThe New Straits Times\u201d, \u201cNew Sunday Times\u201d, \u201cThe Star\u201d and \u201cSin Chew Daily\u201d (\u201cNewspapers\u201d)<\/strong><\/p>\n

– wherein he shall –<\/p>\n

(1) completely, unconditionally and irrevocably Withdraw the Article and\/or\u00a0Statements; and<\/strong><\/p>\n

(2) tender an unconditional apology to me;<\/strong><\/p>\n

He shall give me his written assurance and undertaking that he shall not\u00a0repeat, publish and cause to be repeated and published in any form –<\/p>\n

(i) the Article and\/or Statements; and<\/strong><\/p>\n

(ii) any statement of similar meaning, nature and\/or effect as that of the\u00a0Article and\/or Statements; and he shall pay to me a proper and suitable sum\u00a0of damages for the injury to my reputation and loss which I have suffered\u00a0and continue to suffer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I welcome this first move to meet my demands yet, I must stress that the\u00a0article on its own, is far from sufficient action for me to stop the\u00a0defamation suit that I have planned to file. The above referred article is but one condition out of the several in which I have stipulated, and I believe nothing short of the full list of demands is sufficient to mitigate the damage his irresponsibility has caused.<\/p>\n

As a Christian who is taught to forgive, I am now extending for one last\u00a0time, an olive branch to Pisau.net and all others who have defamed me to\u00a0right the wrongs that they have done, and to satisfy all that is listed in\u00a0my letter of demand. It is clear to me, through the language of the\u00a0above-referred article of correction, that he was likely to be misled by his\u00a0sources and commissioners, much like most BN cybertroopers.<\/p>\n

I hereby urge all others who have defamed me to step forward and follow what\u00a0has been done by Pisau.net, to clear my name and free PR from the various ridiculous, untrue and slanderous defamations.<\/p>\n

Though it doesn\u2019t make his actions any less irresponsible, nor does it make\u00a0his article any less damaging, it gives me hope that this misdirected soul\u00a0may simply just be misled by his scheming BN masters.<\/p>\n

I hereby stand firm on my demands, with a measure of humility in urging\u00a0Pisau.net to reach out to my extended olive brand, and do what is needed as stipulated in my letter of demand and above. I urge him to do so for the\u00a0sake of his own dignity, as well as for the Perakian people. The Perakian\u00a0must no longer be oppressed by the wrongful rule of UMNO\/BN as another\u00a0article to prop up their lies and to cover up their sins, is another article\u00a0denying the People of Perak of a fair, clean and just government.<\/p>\n

Finally, I repeat my call in the state assembly, as well as press statements and conferences, for Zambry to answer the land scandals I exposed that started this debacle off in the first place.<\/p>\n
