The Democratic Action Party (DAP) remains active in serving the local communities of Malaysia, regardless of race and religion. In fact, our efforts in prioritising the rakyat\u2018s welfare have multiplied, especially during this Covid-19 pandemic and its scathing economic effects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this unprecedented era, DAP representatives continue to be active in assisting the rakyat by distributing welfare aid to those who need it the most. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, the Senai ADUN Community Centre recently distributed vegetables to the local community affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Senai ADUN\u2019s Special Assistant, Marina Ibrahim commented that some within the local community reached out and share their struggles in not having any groceries at home. In a Facebook post, Marina shared,<\/p>\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n

\u201cThese vegetables will be distributed to flat residents who need it most. Furthermore, we also managed to distribute aid in the form of diapers and milk formula powder to local families,\u201d

In Kepong, the DAP Community Centre together with Amanah Kepong distributed free face masks in an effort to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. Member of Parliament for Kepong, Lim Lip Eng stressed through his Facebook page,<\/p>\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n

\u201cWe hope that with these face masks, the burden faced by the local community would be lessened. We must always remember to follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP),\u201d
