{"id":14720,"date":"2020-07-13T14:34:34","date_gmt":"2020-07-13T06:34:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.therocket.com.my\/en\/?p=14720"},"modified":"2020-07-13T14:35:34","modified_gmt":"2020-07-13T06:35:34","slug":"dap-ipoh-barat-launched-a-basic-medical-check-up-and-awareness-services-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.therocket.com.my\/en\/dap-ipoh-barat-launched-a-basic-medical-check-up-and-awareness-services-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"DAP Ipoh Barat launched a basic medical check up and awareness services campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1080\" height=\"607\" src=\"https:\/\/www.therocket.com.my\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/featoneas.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14731\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Speech by M.Kula Segaran on the occasion of launching of basic medical check up and awareness services campaign on 11th July 2020 in Ipoh  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malaysia has done a remarkable job in containing the Covid-19 pandemic in comparison to other countries who are much developed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In spite of this success, it is vital for Malaysians\u00a0to not to be complacent and learn from the new spike of Covid-19 cases in other countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.therocket.com.my\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/one.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14727\" width=\"550\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.therocket.com.my\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/k3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14721\" width=\"550\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>According to medical professionals, Covid-19 related death rates are higher among\u00a0 people with pre-existing illness and those who are in the margins of society who can&#8217;t afford medical check ups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this context, it is vital that Malaysians with pre-existing illness to follow and commit to a scheduled medical check up to ensure that pre-existing illnesses like Diabetes and Hypertension are kept under control.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those who feel that they are healthy\u00a0should also go for frequent medical check ups as a preventive measure.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keeping this in mind , Team Ipoh Barat\u00a0would be launching a basic medical check up process for Ipoh\u00a0residents with the presence\u00a0of a doctor.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.therocket.com.my\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/k1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14723\" width=\"550\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.therocket.com.my\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/k2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14722\" width=\"550\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We have been providing consistent basic services to our constituents over the years and this new medical check up and awareness campaign is in addition to that.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We hope in a small way we can assist people to be aware of the current medical condition and to take necessary follow up action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Health is wealth and all efforts must be streamlined to assist the B40 and the less fortunate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Team Ipoh barat is commited to make this medical project inclusive to all irrespective of race and religion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>M.
