{"id":14240,"date":"2020-06-25T12:48:27","date_gmt":"2020-06-25T04:48:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.therocket.com.my\/en\/?p=14240"},"modified":"2020-07-10T15:41:02","modified_gmt":"2020-07-10T07:41:02","slug":"penang-cm-covid-19-spurs-digitalisation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.therocket.com.my\/en\/penang-cm-covid-19-spurs-digitalisation\/","title":{"rendered":"Penang CM: Covid-19 spurs digitalisation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"870\" height=\"522\" src=\"https:\/\/www.therocket.com.my\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/featttt.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14241\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">The current Covid-19 crisis has indirectly paved the way for people who are impacted by the pandemic to adopt digital technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said that people are getting used to using digital technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">He said that digital technology had helped the people to cope with the crisis during the tough period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">\u201cI have stated several times that digitalisation provides an opportunity for us to work on things differently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">\u201cIn fact, the state has promoted digitalisation through the setting up of Digital Penang, an agency to assist the state in terms of technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.therocket.com.my\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/chowkonyeow.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14243\" width=\"592\" height=\"392\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">\u201cHowever, there is still room for improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">\u201cWe deeply appreciate Arup Jururunding Sdn Bhd\u2019s invitation to us.
