This includes wearing a\nmask, specifically in crowded vicinities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some\nhave decided to buy face masks in bulk online, but have instead met with cruel\nscammers ready to take advantage of them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At\nleast 20 police reports have been made by victims paying a seller online for\nmasks, only to have those sellers disappear and no masks delivered after the\npayment has been transferred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In one shocking case, a Malaysian businessman lost huge amounts of money online when he attempted to buy face masks over the internet for a friend in Singapore. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\n36-year old victim was contacted by a man named \u201cHeston Seah\u201d on Facebook who\nresponded to the victim\u2019s post regarding his need for face masks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHeston\u201d\nmade a lucrative offer of 20,000 boxes for just RM 266,253. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately after payment was made, Heston\ndisappeared without delivering his promise on the masks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PDRM implores Malaysians to be very careful and check the authenticity of online sellers.
