Good news for outstation voters from Teluk Intan!

Good news for outstation voters! DAP will assist you in your trip to come back to Teluk Intan to vote.

On 26 May 2014, in a move to help outstation voters Perak DAP chairman Nga Kor Ming (pic) announced that DAP supporters are helping the party to charter 25 buses at a subsidized price to transport Teluk Intan voters staying in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Singapore to come back to vote during the by-election which falls on 31 May (Saturday).

The buses, depending on locations in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Singapore, will depart to Teluk Intan on 30 May and return from Teluk Intan on 1 June. In total there are only 900 seats available.

For voters staying in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur who need transport back, they need only pay RM 10 for the trip to and fro Teluk Intan. For more details on where and when to board the buses in these two states, the voters are encouraged to contact Chee Fu Yue at 017-232-7929.

For voters staying in Singapore who are coming back to vote, DAP will help with the transport back to Singapore after voting. However the voters will need to come back to Teluk Intan themselves. The voters can board a return bus to Singapore where the bus service will commence from afternoon of 31 May to 1 June.

The return trip to Singapore will be provided for free of charge; however the voters need to show proof that he or she had voted in the by-election. For more details on the voting and transport arrangement back to Singapore, the voters are encouraged to contact Siew Lee Wah 012-506-8928.
