Dont let BN get the last smile

pakatan-rakyatYouth leaders of Pakatan Rakyat Negeri Perak have unanimously called for Pakatan Rakyat to mend the rift in the coalition shown in recent weeks.  Raja Iskandar Al-Hiss Perak DPP, Wong Kah Woh DAPSY Perak, and Zafri Bin Mohd Eusoff who is the head AMK for Perak said today that Pakatan Rakyat must prove it can overcome the crisis and challenges faced.

” 8 March 2008 is a memorable date in history, when Pakatan Rakyat was formed following a “political tsunami by the rakyat,” they said, reminding that Pakatan Rakyat had paved a way for democratic politics for 6 years since its inception then.

The coalition’s Youth leaders also cited the 2009 Perak constitutional crisis as being the point which proved Pakatan’s resilience, bringing Pakatan to greater heights with respect to cooperation.

“Our solidarity in this struggle is more important than any other issue”

“We need to stick together to fight for the country and the Rakyat and not fall for the traps set by our political enemies,” they said.

Recent weeks have seen DAP and PKR face an obstacle in PAS with respect to the replacement of Khalid Ibrahim, MB of Selangor. While PKR has decided to remove the MB, its decision was supported by DAP but not by PAS. The situation further worsened when a PAS leader’s WhatsApp message was leaked, which indicated PAS’s willingness to betray the coalition and form a unity government with UMNO to gain the Selangor state. What was also shocking was the unopposed view within the PAS camp to “flick away non-Muslim issues” and restore Malay-Muslim political power in the state via delineation.

However, the Perak Pakatan Rakyat Youth believe that these trying times have to be overcome if the coalition wishes to continuously develop on the successes achieved in GE13.

“Don’t let BN get the last smile,” they said. -TheRocket
